imho in first definition x-(v/2-1) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.94.20.9 (talk) 14:53, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, you want to find f(1/x) d(1/x) not just f(1/x). Then d(1/x)=-dx/x2 which gives the -ν/2-1. PAR 15:38, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that this should be expanded to also cover the case of "1/(chi-2 + constant)" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.224.154.139 (talk) 10:07, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Requested Move

[edit]

There shouldn't be a dash between the words Inverse and chi. --Kupirijo 16:41, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It would also appear that "chi-squared" is commoner than "chi-square" in this title (not to mention making more sense). However, the move request would need to be noted at WP:RM to have any effect. --Stemonitis 09:12, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Diagrams

[edit]

The present versions of the diagrams need to be improved with better information visible. The info attached to the plot files are confusing, giving 3 or 4 parameter values where 4 or 3 lines are plotted. Also, labels on axes need to correspond to notation in article if possible.
