Second Stage Theatre
[edit]I've de-linked "Second Stage Theatre". This is not the Second Stage Theatre in New York; it's the one in Seattle that was torn down to build the Washington State Convention and Trade Center. Unless I'm very much mistaken, it got its name because it was the second stage of the Seattle Repertory Theatre ("The Rep") when The Rep's main stage was in the Seattle Center Playhouse (now Intiman Playhouse). The article here refers to it as "Gary Austin's Second Stage Theatre; I do remember Austin being in Seattle at that time, but I don't offhand remember the theater being his. But I might just not remember. Anyway, the Gary Austin connection could use citation. - Jmabel | Talk 07:28, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, further down, the article mentions that it was torn down to build the WSCTC. But that doesn't make the Gary Austin thing any clearer. - Jmabel | Talk 08:01, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Coordinate error
[edit]{{geodata-check}}
The coordinates received the following fixes:
- 11/9/09: this theatre is actually at 201 Mercer St, Seattle (according to their website). But I clicked on the (previous) coordinates and it identifies a spot in a cemetery in Seattle (Lake View). I modified those coordinates to better ones, derived from Google Maps.
