Also, "Out of This World", though I don't know what genre you'd call that.

Fair use rationale for Image:Interplay-3.PNG

[edit]

Image:Interplay-3.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:58, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

International branding

[edit]

Please make sure international branding is used. When referring to the Sega Genesis, the name Mega Drive should also be used, as that's what it's called outside the USA. Digifiend (talk) 10:18, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Location

[edit]

The geographical location of this company seems to have moved around a bit; right now, I'm looking at the back of The Bard's Tale Construction Set (MS-DOS) box, which lists the address as: Interplay Productions, 3710 S. Susan, Suite 100, Santa Ana, CA 92704. (714) 549-2411. (This was published in 1991.) -- Mecandes (talk) 04:44, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is an ungodly amount of red links in the beginning... I can do nothing about it, because I have no knowledge on the subject. 76.107.217.221 (talk) 03:33, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Those are for video games that don't have articles yet. They're justified and should remain. I removed one red link, for a person who probably won't ever have an article. — Frεcklεfσσt | Talk 12:08, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Iply v. BethSoft

[edit]

Why is there no mention of the lawsuit (neither on this article nor the BethSoft one, for that matter -- the one mention of it is on the FOOL article, and that one is very poorly written)? It's a pretty major event in the company's history; does it not warrant a mention at all? YuriKaslov (talk) 12:03, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

AYYY Will someone please edit this section? It's got some pretty clear bias. I would, but I have little knowledge of the situation. I don't know how to call attention to it without "spamming" the page or whatever. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.53.242.167 (talk) 22:51, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the section is terribly written both grammatically and in terms of bias. I haven't seen too much of the case, but if someone who has can also write something readable to replace what's there, that would be good. Otherwise, I'd advise deletion of most of the content there other than the bit about the suit happening and being over Interplay's making a Fallout MMO. Manic0892 (talk) 16:56, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree that this section needs to be overhauled. Most of the article is biased and the information about the release of other games by Interplay has no relevancy to that particular section. (Blackbaud (talk) 19:40, 23 September 2011 (UTC))[reply]

I overhauled it, i will post more references asap but its late and i must sleep. It has been VASTLY improved for content and clarity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.217.146.147 (talk) 09:06, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
