Discussion about deletion
Hi everyone. I just shorted the article down to its basic message, with deleting all promotional comments. If there are any other proposals for improvement Id be happy to consider them. I still think this article does meet the relevance guidelines and should be kept here. (Oldest private student accomodation in Austria, biggest student accomodation in Tyrol, has international reputation and connections with other universities and its an important building within the education sector for the city) About the evidence, almost all of the info I found is in the literature I cited at the end. Somewhere I read that if almost all of the article is based on one book or one internet-page there is no need for direct citing within the text. Am I right there? I will do some more research and maybe I can find some articles in renowned online newspapers about it and add them as well. I hope I placed this discussion at the right place, Im quite new here! thanks --Haimayer (talk) 10:21, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm, because there are absolutely no inline references, what makes you think the claims are verifiable, not to mention HOAX and ADVERTISEMENT? (Although, the latter isn't really an AfD rationale at all) Sp33dyphil © • © 10:49, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Well most of the information can be found on the official homepage of the ISH as well (there is an english version of it too, if you click the link and then click "Welcome to Innsbruck"). But I do agree that for the section "Would you believe it" I only took the Festschrift as a source. It was published in 2002 but unfortunately there is no online version of it. For the current version I dont see advertisement problems. But if you think some parts are feel free to rewrite them or delete phrases you think that are promotional. I tried my best to shorten it down. About inline references, well I can add some but they would all have the Festschrift or the official homepage as a source. --Haimayer (talk) 11:25, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Btw, how and where is it possible to start a general discussion about AfD? Im originally from the German Wikipedia and dont know the procedure you have here as it seems to be slightly different! Thanks --Haimayer (talk) 08:57, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
