An entire article for this topic?

[edit]

Should an entire article in an encyclopedia be devoted to this topic? A section in the main article (Charlie Hebdo shooting) would have been better. --103.20.67.159 (talk) 16:24, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please view the discussion about creating an entirely new article for the international reactions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Charlie_Hebdo_shooting#Requested_move_10_January_2015 Lightspeed2012 02:26, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, God no. This definitely does NOT need its own article and is getting out of hand. Once the dust settles I'm sure the entire "Reactions" section at "Charlie Hebdo Shooting" will be cleaned and summarized to just a few sentences and reference, as it should be. Why are there always pictures of Obama talking on the phone??

[edit]

It's silly, and not to mention the fact that he was very inconsiderate not to take a greater stance in exhibiting support for France.

Why no mention of this yet there's a picture of him talking on the phone? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.87.133.206 (talk) 03:01, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The website of the White House offered public domain pictures of all recent presidents. Obama's pic is relevant to the article as he was the President of the United States at the time of the massacre at Charlie Hebdo in Paris. This is an action photo around his response. You are welcome to submit similar public domain pics of other leaders. gidonb (talk) 20:44, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
