I am failing this article's GA nomination, due to this not being an article. It is instead a list, and as such should be nominated at WP:Featured list candidates, if the nominators so wish. However, there are several issues that should be rectified first, regardless of whether it's an article or a list:
- The lead needs to be expanded. A one sentence lead isn't enough for a start-class article, much less a 50 kb list.
- Don't use contractions, such as wasn't and isn't, within the article text. They're fine in original quotes, but not in general text.
- Was there really only one nation in Africa that responded? This list seems a bit skewed towards responses from Europe and N. America.
- Six dead links, see here.
- Citation needed tag in the Middle East section.
