Article Summary

"The International Star Registry (ISR) is an organization founded in 1979 for the purpose of giving people the novelty of officially naming stars." The distinction between "officially naming stars", "unofficially naming stars" and just "naming stars" is an important one in the context of the article. The term officially naming a star is ambiguous, as it implies a uniquely and universily used name, which cannot be guaranteed for a star. Therefore the wording should be changed, e.g. "The International Star Registry (ISR) is an organization founded in 1979, which sells the right to unofficially name stars." — Preceding unsigned comment added by LesenderPeter (talkcontribs) 13:05, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
