International Kendo Federation (FIK) is NOT the world governing body for kendo because other international organizations organize kendo, for example International Martial Arts Federation (IMAF) and Dai Nippon Butoku Kai (DNBK).

International Martial Arts Federation (IMAF)

International Martial Arts Federation (IMAF) is a international martial arts federation which organizes Kendo. This organization is a official body for Kendo just like International Kendo Federation (FIK).
