Reinsertion of Source Citation with Mistakes and Deleting Accurate Revisions
[edit]This article had a statement, "The new facility, which sits on a steep hill underneath the highway has triple pane windows to keep out the noise from Interstate 80, located just 20 feet (6.1 m) away from the building"
There was 2 cited sources for that statement:
1. Cichowski, John, Our ugliest landmarks; Readers weigh in on their roadside favorites, The Record, March 9, 2008
This was cited as the source for the 20 ft distance of the building from Route 80. It does NOT mention that the building sits on a hill. It does NOT mention the use of triple pane windows.
2. Haddon, Heather, Sleek school comes with a heavy price, The Record, September 11, 2008
This source mentioned the triple pane windows and more accurately reports the building was "nestled" into the hill below Route 80.
I have been to the site of this high school and it does NOT sit on a hill. It sits on flat grade land. The site next to Route 80 originally had a hill. The property was built so the buildings were "nestled" into the hill.
In addition, the building sits considerably more than 20 ft from Route 80 as I have seen and which you can verify on Google Map.
On 3/5/13, I removed the Record citation, which had mistaken info about the distance of the buildings from Route 80 and its configuration in relation to Route 80, and revised the original statement to more accurately state that:
- The new facility, which was nestled into a steep hill underneath Interstate 80 has triple pane windows to keep out the noise from the highway.
I also replaced the outdated Internet link, which was no longer accessible, with a new Internet link for the second article above.
I made minor corrections about when the high school used leased space and when it purchased the Don Bosco high school building based on a current source in the article:
- "State buys former Don Bosco Tech H.S."

If Alansohn (talk), who undid the original changes, wants to Undo my changes that provided additional information with value to the article and deleted an incorrect source citation that is already covered by another source citation in the article, Alansohn (talk) needs to explain why my edits should be undone for consensus review by users of this page. Any additional feedback from Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 haneʼ would be welcomed.Wondering55 (talk) 21:22, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
