Update/expand Article

[edit]

This post can be expanded on to incorporate more information especially on the different areas of study and platforms used. I am planning to add a few sections as long as there are no objections. My proposed outline would look something like below:

  1. Scope - background information like what is included already on the page
  2. Climate & Ecosystems - summarize the research done in this area and how it relates to the subcategories of Paleoclimate, Deep Life, Impact Structures and Volcanoes
  3. Sustainable Georesources - links to Deep Life, Volcanoes, Element Cycles and Plate Margins
  4. Natural Hazards - focus on faults, volcanoes, impact structures and plate margins
  5. Joint projects with IODP

Any comments or suggestions on other topics? I will post updates as I work through these. (Maryland72 (talk) 19:10, 27 July 2017 (UTC))[reply]
