Parochial
[edit]Where the article indicates that the majority of DC's find the "attitude parochial", the reference is to the majority (membership) association, which specifically includes the wording "therapeutic", for which the ICA is specifically "non-therapeutic". This includes all forms of physiotherapy, which is the essential difference between "straight" and "mixer".Д-рСДжП,ДС 21:04, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

dated links
[edit]There are several dated links that need to be cleaned up. They also seem to be included with statements that would be better suited for the discussion of controversy on the general chiropractic page. Pacmann117 (talk) 02:56, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
objective language
[edit]There are many instances of statements in this article which are clearly promoting an opinion. Additionally, these statements use vocabulary which the average reader would not be familiar with, such as "parochial". I have replaced this with objective language. While attempting to maintain the underlying though which appears to question why there are two major national chiropractic associations. Again, there is a general area for discussing the controversy of chiropractic on the general chiropractic page Pacmann117 (talk) 03:29, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
Anti Vaccine
[edit]There is sourced information about the views of the ICA on vaccinations. I recently added the information and a probable COI editor has reverted me. I am asking for additional eyes on the article and specifically about the information I added in.--VVikingTalkEdits 19:13, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
I have requested additional eyes on this article as I feel their anti-vaccine views should be included. If you invite Andrew Wakefield to your conference, even if the conference is only a subset of your organization, but one of your bigger conferences, you are clearly showing your bias towards anti-vaccine tendencies. As anti-vaccine is a fringe subject I feel this is an important aspect of the organization that should be included in their article. --VVikingTalkEdits 01:59, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
Also worth noting that the ICA website hosts the well know, but very cherry-picked antivax reference collection "1200 Studies" by Alan Palmer. I'm not sure that's worth noting on the main page, but it's another piece of evidence that would make it hard to argue that the organization doesn't support the Anti-vaccine movement.Nrjank (talk) 20:01, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
