Removed NN deletion proposal
[edit]The article references 4 third-party listings and a US Library of Congress ISSN. The referenced e-journal shows sufficient evidence of active writership and readership. Is there institutional affiliation?--166.137.138.23 (talk) 15:04, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
Added 5 links
[edit]Added 5 links to journal databases that list the journal as an ISSN bearing journal. --38.108.209.33 (talk) 16:42, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. I've moved these around a bit, attaching them to the journal. We've established that the organization and its journal exists. However, existence is not enough to establish notability, which is one of the criteria for inclusion. I don't think that simply having an ISSN establishes notability. As I mention below, we need to independent, reliable sources that discuss the importance of the organization and the journal. More sources that attest to the existence of the organization and/or the journal won't help us answer the question, "why is this topic notable enough to have in the encyclopedia". I've linked to the Wikipedia pages about notability, independence, and reliable sources. I hope these pages help explain the level we're aiming for. —C45207 | Talk 22:25, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

- Agreed.—C45207 | Talk 22:25, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
This journal has a three year history of publications, an ISSN listing with the US Library of Congress, as well as a prominent editorial board. It seems to have serious readership (1638 visits to the current issue). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.108.209.33 (talk) 06:29, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
- Can you find anything where those readers talk about the organization/journal that we can use to establish it's notability?—C45207 | Talk 22:25, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Independent Sources
[edit]I'm having trouble finding independent, reliable sources to establish notability. The sources provided verify the existence of the journal and some information about its publication history, but nothing speaks to the importance of the journal.—C45207 | Talk 14:27, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
