[edit]In regard to the academic impact information which seems intended to denigrate the journal: No academic journal is included in Thompson ISI until it has been in the market for at least 5 years. Thompson started to count the impact factor of "Intercultural Pragmatics" only in September 2009. The first impact factor for the journal will be revealed for 2010 in the spring of 2011.Neddanison (talk) 10:58, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
Wasn't the journal founded in 2004, making 2009 the five year point? Where else can the impact factor information be obtained? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobbee.girl (talk • contribs) 13:05, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
The key is to find a fair way to rank this journal. Perhaps the following article might be of use? Or someone might try checking at web of knowledge?--http://www.alia.org.au/publishing/aarl/37.1/east.pdf 64.246.144.114 (talk) 19:19, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
There are no sources for most of this article. It could be cut unless sources can be cited. Honestly, I would like to see an impartial and fair article on this article, but it is difficult to judge. The original version of this piece was a fluff piece that was severely cut and most similar articles lack a wikipedia entry altogether. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobbee.girl (talk • contribs) 09:41, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- I have rewritten the article, removing the information on the impact factor etc. that the journal does not yet have, as it didn't add anything substantial. Once the impact factor is revealed, it will be added to the article. --Kajervi (talk) 11:20, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
