Rfc: should the Jesuit Christogram at top right be included
[edit]I'm wondering if the (Jesuit?) Christogram included at the top right of the page is appropriate? The editor who started this page has made dozens of pages with this icon. It falls outside of the infobox, which gives it a "branding" effect, in my view. I have basically zero knowledge of religious traditions, so apologies if I have any of the Christ-related wording wrong. Other pages "branded" with the same icon would be: Udayani Social Action Forum, Ocer Campion Jesuit College,Jesuit Migration Academic Network, Dolores Mission, Los Angeles and Kateri Northwest Ministry Institute-- but there are many many more. Comment Dolores Mission, Los Angeles, which I chose at random, is a parish affiliated to the proper name for 'Jesuits', it hardly seems suitable for 'branding', since the article is mainly about the parish socially. What does not help is that no caption is attached to many of these 'stamps' to establish/explain the presence. I don't know what policy says, but instinct says that unless the page is SPECIFICALLY about a Jesuit institution, the use is inapt, particularly when splashed above the infobox and uncaptioned. - Thanks! There was amore extensive discussion that came up with basically the same answer all around on the COIN page. HappyValleyEditor (talk) 06:21, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
