This foundation is the controlling part of the IKEA brand. It is connected with the Kamprad family and shows that the Kamprad family is still involved and receives money from the running of IKEA.
These revelations were made on Swedish national television on the 26th of January 2011. See [1] and [2] for further information.

Should an article like this address the "why?" ?
[edit]Why does a company like IKEA choose a corporate structure like that? What are the benefits? Is it for tax avoidance? Or maybe less red tape? I think as it is the articles offers almost nothing 79.166.0.51 (talk) 19:15, 9 May 2023 (UTC)
Split into Interogo Foundation and Inter IKEA Foundation
[edit]On Sept 1 2023, Interogo split into the Interogo Foundation and Inter IKEA Foundation. I'm going to move this page (currently named "Interogo Foundation") to "Inter IKEA Foundation" since most of the page is about the stuff the Inter IKEA Foundation does now (everything IKEA related), and create a new "Interogo Foundation" page for the remaining stuff the Interogo Foundation (the investment fund).
