Dunno if anyone still messes with this stuff, but it would be a good idea to differentiate and maybe mention the reason for teh name similarities. -Hellkyte

Jones house changed to Baker house

[edit]

James R. Jones house has become Ella Baker Graduate House since the last edit of this article. See [1] and [2]. 75.119.11.92 (talk) 14:24, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

I do not believe this 12-person house meets notability guidelines. The creator of that article removed a notability tag from the article, here, without supplying unrelated sources as necessary to verify or commenting, except in a note to the tagger to "Please leave my page alone". I came upon the article, which had been tagged as a copyright concern on Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2008 October 7 , and finding no showing of notability redirected it here. This was reverted by the creator. I believe that lacking reliable sources to verify otherwise, the subject lacks notability for a stand-alone article. At best, I think it may be appropriate to merge a small amount of material here, though any such merge will need to be careful to avoid infringement. (Text such as "In 1954, Osterweil became a house strictly for female graduate students" is taken verbatim from this source and will be removed pending resolution of this issue.) Alternatively, it may be appropriate to seek deletion of the article. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:35, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
