Changing the scope of the article
[edit]@DHeyward: First, I must apologize for being too hasty with the CSD, PROD, and AfD nominations. Rather than collaborate to improve the article, I went straight for removal. That said, I would be willing to assist you with expanding the article to include various "ceremonies of degradation" if we can find evidence of any more. — Jkudlick tcs 05:54, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
- No Worries. I understand the dictionary reason for deletion. I created the stub after reading about the Order of the Garter and the last person removed with the full ceremony. It was my intent to document the ceremonies more than just the public notice of removal. It seemed to me at the time that the specific events of casting into the choir and then kicking out into the ditch around the church had some history behind it. Even the fact that the nameplates seem to remain even after degradation is significant. If you have sources or even pictures of the chapel, that would be great. I would love to see the nameplate of a degraded member if they exist. --DHeyward (talk) 06:35, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
