[edit]I do not personally disagree that the examples cited are discriminating. However, it feels inherently POV to have what is essentially a "list of cases of discrimination"; I suspect that the creator's goal was to voice a protest against the Kentucky decision which Wikipedia is not for. Can it be salvaged and made encyclopedic? With this title I doubt it, but let's try some discussion before I prod it. Henning Makholm 20:49, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
I agree
[edit]This page was created rather hap-hazardly. More examples need to be included. They need to refer to ethnic discrimination, and any other types of discrimination that can be thought of.
Complete rewrite or deletion?
[edit]The article is written poorly and in a negative way. Institutionalized discrimination is also used as a vehicle for female members of the society to have a better chance at getting top positions in politics and company boards. While I think that is negative, for example Dutch society sees this as a way to level the field and bring the female representation to a number closer to 50%.
