Institute of Rural Management, Anand

[edit]

Unless I'm very much mistaken, the English name of this institution is actually Institute of Rural Management, Anand. If no one objects, I'm going to move the page to this. Stuartyeates (talk) 18:43, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The name is Institute of Rural Management Anand.
It does not have a comma. 202.129.240.194 (talk) 05:46, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of alumni

[edit]

The list of well known alumni has been deleted, due to lack of notability. Some of the names mentioned, like Mr.R. S. Sodhi, Managing Director, GCMMF constantly appears in the national business press: around articles on the AMUL milk brand. For example see http://www.indiablooms.com/BusinessDetailsPage/2012/businessDetails240512f.php on introduction of a new product.Anant (talk) 13:54, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Once these people have their own wikipedia pages, they can be linked to from here. Stuartyeates (talk) 03:43, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I do not think that Sanjay Kumar was an alumnus of IRMA? His name has been inserted in the list of notable alumni, on 23rd July 2012. Anant (talk) 10:39, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm about to remove this information again, as per Wikipedia:ALUMNI. Stuartyeates (talk) 08:50, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Mayank Kashyap

[edit]

An IRMA alumnus, recently published a book of poems. The book has an ISBN number,(http://www.cyberwit.net/publications/537) and the release of the book was covered by the national press. http://epaper.newindianexpress.com/126118/The-New-Indian-Express-Hyderabad/17.06.2013#page/17/1). Any reason why the un named editor, (with IP number 115.242.69.207 ) removed this name from the list of notable alumni under the category of creative writing? Translation of Samskrit motto to English

[edit]

The motto "Sa Vidya Ya Vimukhataye" - has to be translated, with reference to the words sa...ya. This is used in Samskrit language to denote association? So, the translation would be "where there is knowledge/learning (vidya), there is liberation (mukhti)". The correct translation has been replaced with "That which liberates is knowledge".
