Spoiler tags
[edit]Does anyone mind if I take out the spoiler tags? I've been convinced by a centralised debate that they are unencyclopedic. --Guinnog 18:22, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

- The centralised debate I mentioned is still ongoing at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Policies/Wikipedia:Spoiler warning. I want to emphasise that I do not feel strongly about the matter, and if anyone wanted to put them back, I wouldn't edit-war over it. However, I think all the titles should be treated equally. --Guinnog 17:37, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
New Book Title Speculation
[edit]Removed the reference to "The Final Cut" being the new title of the final book, when that was merely the winning competition entry and Ian's website says that no-one guessed the title correctly.
Full Quote:
Congratulations to the winner of the competition to guess the title of Ian Rankin’s new book, out this September. Although nobody guessed the title correctly, Ian has selected his favourite: The Final Cut (originally the title of a Pink Floyd title) which was put forward by Tony Brown
New Book Title Confirmed!
[edit]The final Inspector Rebus book will be called: "Exit Music".
The title was revealed live on Radio 4 this evening. (The Front Row show at around 7.30)
Templer
[edit]Does anyone else think that her rank should be listed as Detective Chief Superintendent? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.207.251.238 (talk) 20:50, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Personal life
[edit]This seems to have become outdated - over many novels Rebus has relations with many women; it seems odd to have a section deciding which, other than his daughter and Clarke, are important relationships. And it would seem sensible to distinguish intimate relationships from others. Just a thought. 86.42.244.171 (talk) 18:02, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
