Drastic cleanup

[edit]

This was the body of the Dab revision immediately preceding the split into Inside Baseball (strategy) and Inside baseball (metaphor), and the needed cleanup:

Inside Baseball is a strategy in baseball. The term may also have the following meanings.

  • Inside Baseball, a number of baseball books with this title (or main title)
    • Inside Baseball (1980), by Dell Bethel, ISBN 0809270528
    • Inside Baseball (1974), by Harold H. Wolf, ISBN 0682478512
    • Inside Baseball: Teams, Traditions, and Players (1994) by Greg Garber, ISBN 1567990622
    • Inside Baseball: The Best of Tom Verducci (2006) by editors of Sports Illustrated, Tom Verducci, ISBN 1933405007
    • Inside Baseball: a Half Century of the National Pastime (1950) by Arthur Daley, Grosset & Dunlap
  • Bruce Weber's Inside Baseball, an annual baseball season guide by Bruce Weber

Bear in mind that:

  1. An article blue-link is required for an entry: a redlink may be acceptable, but it is not sufficient.
  2. An ISBN link is not a lk to an article.
  3. One blue-lk per entry.
  4. The "Sports Illustrated" article does not mention the corresponding Inside Baseball work, nor Tom Verducci or Arthur Daley (journalist) (Arthur Daley is a Rdr to a work of fiction with a fic-char of that name) mention his, nor does the Dab Bruce Weber include anyone plausible as the author of the corresponding one.

Perhaps at least one of these bad entries can be made good by work on the corresponding article, and added back, but for the moment the only justification for the Dab is the distinction between the strategy and the metaphor.
