I think that user:HammondJr is correct to post this page. The ICA is much different than other generic aliances, and we should document the ISA accomplishments and failures. 24.255.120.111 (talk) 22:59, 9 July 2008 (UTC) I aggree as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.245.116.167 (talk) 23:06, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also user:HammondJr did mention other products but did not link them to the other product pages, so I will link them. We also need to clean up the external links... 24.255.120.111 (talk) 23:22, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This page does not glorify a product or a company, unlike some other pages (names withheld). It is outlining an alliance between two companies that are attempting to better Voice communications rather than maintain the status quo. I for one would like to learn more.... Notability can be verified through the extensive list of references within this article. HammondJr (talk) 01:32, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Citation for tasks being done by joint teams

[edit]

I am looking for a citation that states specifically what a Nortel-Microsoft joint team is working on, not a citation for the existence of a joint team, nor a citation for products released by Nortel and Microsoft. Please do not remove the corresponding request for a citation from the "Formation of alliance" section in the article unless you can provide the required citation. Moved to talk - potential refs

[edit]

While this list does indeed look like it has some good, potential references, some is highly promotional or not WP:RS, so I moved it here. --Ronz (talk) 16:45, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

<- - !! The ICA page was RFD and deleted for lack of references in Dec 2007; the following is an extensive list of references to validate the notability | Please assist in integrating the following list into the article. - ->

Article has been flagged as being like an advertisement since October 2008.

[edit]

It's nearly one year later. I am proposing this article for speedy deletion. The only "references" are what amounts to press releases. If this article weren't just a blatant advertisement, it would be difficult to see how it is notable, and this entry needs completely rewritten to be encyclopedic. 24.152.177.94 (talk) 01:33, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
