What does this suppose to mean?

These are divided into:
- transversus thoracis anteriorly
- lateral muscle slips laterally (which cross a single intercostal space)
- subcostalis posteriorly (which often cross more than one intercostal space) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shaochitz (talk • contribs) 11:31, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
- The muscle isn't divided into those muscles, since those are separate muscles. I have now removed them from the article. Lymoz (talk) 11:03, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
