Festival Loctations Table
[edit]Work in progress - Pulled most of the data from the IWA Diamond Jubilee history write up. There are a lot of blanks to work on. Need to dig out some old newsletters to see if I can find more to fill in these gaps. Any input much appreciated Catwhoorg 19:51, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

**Police Estimate - yes 385 000, this year was if I remember rightly an 'open' site with no admission charges, plus being right in the heart of the connurbation there were a LOT of people.
***The Year of Great Mud. I'll have to dig out some of the pcitures of this one.
- I've added this table to the IWA National Festival page with a few additions. Maybe other readers have more complete records. Chris55 (talk) 12:08, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
1950 events
[edit]While the official IWA website just says Tom Rolt "left" the IWA in 1950, I think Wiki can point out what Rolt himself said, that he and some other people were expelled! Hugo999 (talk) 04:20, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Images
[edit]This article seems to be using rather a lot of images for decoration, rather than to illustrate the text. As far as I can see, every single picture is just a general canal scene, and not one of them is actually illustrating an IWA rally or similar.
As such, none of them should really be here.
We really need to remove them all, and add a couple of relevant images instead. Mayalld (talk) 13:32, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Inland Waterways Association. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20061006060833/http://www.wrg.org.uk/navvies/navvies183.pdf to http://www.wrg.org.uk/navvies/navvies183.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

No special action is required regarding these talk page notices, other than regular verification using the archive tool instructions below. Editors have permission to delete these "External links modified" talk page sections if they want to de-clutter talk pages, but see the RfC before doing mass systematic removals.
