Ingrid Croce article

[edit]

To whoever created the monstrosity that existed which I had to prune -- this is not a fansite or blogsite, which anyone who wishes is free to create, but not piggyback here. This is an encyclopedia. The article as I found it was totally in violation of WP:POV and WP:NEUTRALITY. Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 21:39, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if this got pruned out, but in the "Aftermath" section a paragraph starts with "Once litigation was over in 1981" but there is no mention above it as to what was being litigated. Was it something connected with the plane crash, her son's healthcare, or publishing rights? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.249.51.220 (talk) 18:37, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An orphan comment like "Once litigation was over in 1981, Ingrid had set precedent for other recording artists" should be removed, as it is meaningless out of any context.

There is an odd reference to Ingrid's son, A.J., going blind due to "brain tumor 'syndrome' " yet on A.J.'s Wikipedia entry it says that the blindness was due to child abuse and that remark is linked to an interview of A.J., which as of this date is still up at: http://www.seacoastonline.com/article/20150305/ENTERTAINMENTLIFE/150309879/101164/ENTERTAINMENT

The reference given in this article, ajcroce.com, is no longer on the web and is not archived by wayback. Therefore, I'm changing to "child abuse". Rengewwj (talk) 14:09, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, this article is really bad. It's more about Jim Croce and their son than it is about Ingrid. Nothing about Ingrid's life after college and before having a child. And I really love "She sat on the board of the Woman's Bank and traveled to Israel, where A.J. took his rites of passage." Huh? Seems like 3 non sequiturs in a single sentence and no citations. And I've never heard of a bar mitzvah being referred to ask taking your rites of passage. I hope at some point someone who knows what they are doing does Ingrid justice with this article.Dkelber (talk) 23:17, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ingrid Falsehoods

[edit]

Ingrid, in the past few years, has taken to sullying Croce's reputation in books and interviews. She has lied about other things over the years, such as AJ's "brain tumor". His blindness was the result of beatings from a boyfriend Ingrid had (some say husband that is never mentioned). She lied about not getting royalties and she's lied about the musicians that worked for Croce. I'd take anything she says with a grain of salt. And AJ just reconfirmed the beating on CBS Sunday Morning aired 06/19/22. 75.161.6.0 (talk) 18:11, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
