Why "Count of Hesbaye"?
[edit]Not seeing it in any of the cited sources.--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 20:19, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
- What I see is that he was described as a son of a brother of the Bishop of Metz, and that Bishop of Metz was described as having noble parents from Hasbania. No mention of them being counts of the place.--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 08:45, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
Name of this article
[edit]First ideas for discussion: Duke Ingoram or Duke Ingoram, father of Ermengarde. I see no sign of him ever having been described as a Count, or as someone with a position in the Hesbaye region.--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 20:51, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
