Is Infrastructure Partnerships Australia a think tank?
[edit]Is Infrastructure Partnerships Australia a think tank? Should it be in the think tank category? Robertwhyteus (talk) 03:53, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
Yes it is a think tank. IPA is a membership organisation. Membership is comprised of both the public and private sectors and it is constituted to represent the views of its members and advance the discussion around infrastructure development in Australia, as opposed to a lobby group, which is paid to lobby for a particular outcome.
In addition, IPA is focused on evidence-based research which is all made publicly available on the IPA website. The audience for this research is industry, public sector leaders and the general public MBruce001 (talk) 00:19, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
