Math Problem in Combat Infantryman's Course Section
[edit]There seems to be a math problem regarding the lengths of various courses offered by the Combat Infantryman's Course. The second sentence says "...the standard course lasts 26 weeks". Then it goes on to say that Guardsmen "...undertake a two week enhanced drill course as part of the CIC, due to the stringent drill required of the public duties they will undertake. The CIC for Foot Guards therefore lasts 30 weeks". Presumably "two week enhanced" means that their course is two weeks longer, however 26 weeks + 2 weeks = 28 weeks, not 30 weeks. At least one of those lengths appears to be incorrect. To make matters worse, the entries for the Coldstream Guards and Grenadier Guards say (as of February 2013) that their Combat Infantryman's Course is 29 weeks. It really would benefit from attention by someone with some specialized knowledge about the facts, and that is not me. Darkstar8799 (talk) 21:16, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
