Generally, this is a well-sourced well-structured, comprehensible and comprehensive article. As is often the case with articles I put on hold, I would like to see some added citations (they will be tagged in the article as well) and a clarfication or two before I do a copy edit and pass it.
Cites needed for:
"After the release of Land he recruited guitarist Mike Scaccia from Texas thrashers Rigor Mortis, something that surprised Scaccia himself." (This may be the footnote after the next sentence, but it's offline and we have no way of knowing. It might work better if you put the relevant quote from the source in).
"As a result, acts like Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000, Monster Voodoo Machine and Dope are often described as industrial metal." Having some cites demonstrating this is absolutely necessary.
Also, Lustmord is first mentioned in a context in which it seems that we missed reading about their pioneering role. Could they have been mentioned earlier in the article and accidentally edited out? As it is we don't understand why Brian Williams' opinion is important.
That's all we need. Hope you can clear this up and get it passed. Daniel Case (talk) 05:06, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
