This article refers to the 2004 indices. Should't this be more generic and talk about the IMD in general with sections on each update. I believe that IMD2007 is now avaiable.

Also a section is need on the use of the IMD.

Thanks for producing these IoD articles which I stumbled across when looking for the most deprived area to send my supermarket schools vouchers to. It's a pity they don't have a higher Google ranking as I had to do the research myself, before deciding to dump it in a Wikipedia article, which was when I discovered it already existed. It would be good to have a complete list for each UK area - I believe the convention is to use a separate list article. -- John (Daytona2 · Talk · Contribs) 13:51, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
