have created the stub for the indian space program. open to discussion on whether this page is to be merged with ISRO's page. but believe that the space program page should be present and should offer a more distant perspective: focus on what india's spcae program is for? what as it accomplished (and spent:)) what its place in the international space arena is. so detailed discussion of operations of ISRO is not expected here. (yes, will have to look at current state of Establishments section in view of this). to begin with, i need to know whether or not DoS is ISRO; ISRO, DoS; the way it is with NASA. -- Doldrums 12:30, 9 August 2005 (UTC)
- I think presently their is no need to have separate articles. Maybe 15 years down the road their will be enough private players to justify a separate article. --Blacksun 21:12, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
Merger with Indian Space Research Organisation
[edit]I propose that this article be merged with Indian Space Research Organisation.

- Support This article is just a list of bullet points. All of the real information is at Indian Space Research Organization. To compare to a similar topic, United States space program just goes to NASA. --65.167.22.166 14:26, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Piyush: ISRO has a significant role in development of Indian Space Program and deserves a different page all together. A link should be good from Indian Space Program to ISRO page.
