Income chart
[edit]It is interesting to notice that there is no distinction on the chart among people earning less that 60 000 dollars a year although they are very much: this is a pity because as a result this chart only give a few information of the real income distribution among the population.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.144.171.244 (talk • contribs)
- True the chart only shows the distribution of individuals and households that would/could at one time or another be considered affluent. I will replace the chart sometime. Regards, Signaturebrendel 19:02, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

merged
[edit]Perhaps these articles should be merged? Personal income in the United States, Household income in the United States, Income in the United States, Per capita personal income in the United States Benjamin (talk) 03:17, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
Outdated
[edit]Some of the data in the article date to 2006 to 2007. Far too old to present the current situation in the United States. Dimadick (talk) 08:59, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
Percentiles?
[edit]Aren't the percentiles presented as their associated *percentage of earners*, rather than actual percentile, in this chart? That is, shouldn't "1%" be "99th percentile", "2%" -> "98th percentile", etc? We could also rename the chart. 2603:7000:8C00:3B0F:7DB7:39B4:4DCC:F5D7 (talk) 18:21, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
