Key of this song
[edit]I edited the text to reflect the fact that this song is in C minor, which is clearly shown by the following chord progression:
"It...has a basic sequence of Cm–E♭6–A♭5–G5 as its chord progression."
Someone edited the key for this song back to Eb Major, saying that because the key signatures are the same for both keys: "If they are `the same', why change it?" If you don't understand the difference between C minor and Eb Major, please look at the relevant Wikipedia articles: C minor, Eb Major. And if you still don't understand after that, please defer to those who actually understand the difference. And I'm sorry if that sounds presumptuous. It's not. It's just evident to anyone who knows basic tonal theory that the progression outlined above is i-III-VI-V in C minor and couldn't be the basic progression of a song in Eb Major for several reasons, including which chord is first and the use of the G Major chord, which has a B-natural in it - the raised 7th scale degree of the C minor scale, and not a note that would be used much in Eb Major. And as a matter of fact, that G Major chord is used quite a lot in this song and is one of the telltale signs that it's in the relative minor of Eb Major, not in Eb Major. Thanks a lot.
