Cover Art
[edit]This current album artwork appears fan made, and no sources are present, this also is not the cover art as shown on Hilson's website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.98.96.117 (talk) 20:11, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Fake track listing and sources
[edit]Please note before editing, the rumored track listing posted on a blog on July 4, 2007 is indeed fake.[1] "Get Me Off (The Bench)" and "Happy Juice" are the only confirmed tracks as of now with reputable sources. Please do not revert or re-add the track list until it is confirmed by Hilson, her camp or a reputable news source. Thanks!

Reputable sources & track listing
[edit]Please note before editing, "Get Me Off (The Bench)" and "Happy Juice" are the only confirmed tracks as of now with reputable sources. Speedy deletion + cut & paste
[edit]First off I would like to apologize for cut and pasting this article to it's new title. I was unaware of what harm it does to the article until I was informed two days ago. This article is completely reliable as far as sources, therefore I don't believe it should be deleted but obviously fixed, thanks. --Ayoleftyz 01:33, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
New confirmed track
[edit]It's 'Slow Dance', Keri performed it at Polow Da Don's Zone 4inc. launch party. Here is the link to the video. Source: Rap-Up TV. http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1078688279/bclid1077096422/bctid1127682637 $ą|εɱ 03:26, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
History merge
[edit]I've merged the history from Keri'd Away. It looks a little confusing because it was cut-and-paste moved back and forth more than once, but the two articles appear identical and did not coexist simultaneously. Cool Hand Luke 07:51, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Release date
[edit]It is mentioned quite clearly at the end of the performance on http://www.mcdlive.com/ that the album is due in '08. NumberSixFiveSeven 09:26, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Edited accordingly, thanks for the find! --Ayoleftyz 05:23, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
There's a new interview up at http://allhiphop.com/blogs/alternatives/archive/2007/11/12/18863261.aspx Hopefully you can glean some additions to the article from it. Main points I saw were
-First quarter tentative release date
-Guests: Justin Timberlake, Snoop, Ludacris, Tank

- Thank you again for another good source. I have added the release date. Spellcast 13:02, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Play.com tracklist
[edit]Someone has removed the 'recorded tracks' section leaving the 'Play.com' tracklist only. I cannot find this tracklist on play.com (checked on 30th) and it doesn't include some of the tracks specifically mentioned on the biography on the official website which is a recent article so I will revert. NumberSixFiveSeven (talk) 07:36, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
Official Tracklist: 1.In A Perfect World (Intro) 2.Turn Off (featuring Lil’ Wayne) 3.See You Again (featuring Justin Timberlake) 4.Sleeping With The Enemy (Interlude) 5.Energy 6.Quicksand 7.Where Did He Go 8.Alienated 9.Hands And Feet 10.Sidewalk 11.Return the Favor (featuring Timbaland) 12.Slow Dance 13.Too Proud 14.Let Me Go 15.Rewritten (Outro) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.131.105.32 (talk) 17:54, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
No reference, even then it is not likely that will be the final track list. Just go on her official web site and read the biography. NumberSixFiveSeven (talk) 22:46, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Mic Check Sample
[edit]Mic Check (Feat. Akon) (Produced by Timbaland) - 3:52 uses samples from Timbalands previous beat from Lil Eazy-E "I Got That". Anybody find sources would make this more valid. —Preceding unsigned comment added by HectaSelecta (talk • contribs) 13:32, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Move
[edit]Could someone please revert the rather short sighted move to "On a Perfect World..." back to its original title "In a Perfect World..."? Since Ilikestella took the rather bold decision to move it. Adaobi YELL!!done 15:26, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Release
[edit]How Many Times Are They Going To Push Back This Album? First 2007, then september 08, october 08, november 08, now december 9th 08? When will this really be released? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.20.88.22 (talk) 01:10, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
push back... !(again...)
[edit]this is the same thing that happened with nicole scherzinger's album , it was pushed back again, again & again!nicole & keri are both on the same label...... nicole's album was supposed 2 come out in 2007,but now it will be released in 2009 i hope that keri's album will be finally released in 2008! —Preceding unsigned comment added by MariAna Mimi (talk • contribs) 12:05, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Now it will be released in 2009???? OMG! i am giving up my hope.... :-( or is it just a roumor?? (MariAna Mimi 10:20, 26 October 2008 (UTC))
Nicole went back to The Pussycat Dolls after he failed attempt at going solo. Clearly Keri dosent have that backup and im a little worried. I think its been pushed back again for re-recording. They are really looking for that hit single to get the first week sales. Koala72 (talk) 11:37, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Turnin Me On
[edit]It should have its own page as it is/will be released as a single and the video has been shot. the video version features t.i. as well as lil wayne? www.rap-up.com ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.27.195.160 (talk) 19:13, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
- If the single is released and if it is a hit (i.e. makes it higher than the Bubbling Under chart), then the article—which has already been deleted via AFD—should be re-created. But not before. —Hello, Control Hello, Tony 19:15, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
Return The Favor
[edit]Why do people keep deleating the single page? It's the album's second single. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.171.245.107 (talk) 00:57, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
People deleted the page because it is a Promo Single. Turnin Me On is the second official single. Many sources point to Return The Favor as the third single however. It did have a music vid, but it is kinda like Play With Fire, only Return The Favor might have an official release. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PSIHEARTTORI (talk • contribs) 01:01, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Current Cover Art
[edit]Um... this cover art has been out for a few months, is it best we delete it until a new one is released? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.20.88.5 (talk) 00:58, 29 January 2009 (UTC) the current cover art is incorrect. the previous featuring keri with leopard skin leggins/tights was correct as it was show on the late show/david letterman show when she performed "turning me on"(Lil-unique1 (talk) 22:21, 19 February 2009 (UTC))
Changes as of 10 March (article layout)
[edit]Several problems
1. please dont add "can you do it" as a bonus track there is no proof of this.
2. please dont remove hmv tracklisting as both that and the amazon one are valid until confirmed or disproved by keri or her record label.
3. please dont post false rumours about new (fourth singles) these HAVE NOT been confirmed yet.
4. youtube is not approved by wiki as a suitable source for referencing.
(Lil-unique1 (talk) 19:23, 10 March 2009 (UTC))
JUST TO REMIND PEOPLE THAT THE TABLE LAYOUT FOR ALBUM TRACK-LISTINGS IS NOT APPROVED, RECOMMENDED OR APPROPRIATE AS PER WIKIPEDIA GUIDELINES. SEE WP:ALBUMS IF YOU ARE UNSURE. PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT NO CONTENT CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE SINCE CHANGING THE LAYOUT.
CAN YOU DO IT IS NOT A BONUS TRACK UNTIL CONFIRMED.
PLEASE DO NOT SPECULATE ABOUT ALIENATED BEING UK TRACK... WAIT FOR OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lil-unique1 (talk • contribs) 22:25, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
- There's nothing in the guidelines that state tables aren't allowed. Numbered lists are preferred when dealing with a simple track listing. In this case, the track listing is a bit more complex, so the use of a table is perfectly fine. DiverseMentality 15:54, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
its is sloppy and not good practise according to wikipedia. not forgetting to mention it is unprofessional. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 15:59, 16 March 2009 (UTC))
- There's nothing on the guideline that says it's not good practice, nor is it unprofessional. I'll quote from Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums#Track listing: Using a table is recommended in more complicated situations (see Before These Crowded Streets for example). If a table is used, it should be formatted using
class="wikitable"
, using column headings "#", "Title" and "Length" for the track number, the track title and the track length, respectively. As you can see, it recommends the use of tables for complex track listings. DiverseMentality 16:04, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
none of the titles in the tracklisting are complicated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lil-unique1 (talk • contribs) 17:02, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- Not the song titles, but the actual information available (track numbers, titles, writers, producers, lengths of songs, etc). DiverseMentality 21:01, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Genres
[edit]As this seems to be the core of an edit war, let's discuss this before making any further changes, shall we? First off, let's start with the source at hand; it lists both R&B and pop as genres. The source, being Allmusic, is one of the most reputable sources for music found online. That being said, I think we should be able to agree that R&B and pop are the genres the album contains, and these two should be included. — Σxplicit 20:46, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
I agree with you 100%!! but how can i revert vandalsim edits, so that i won't get blocked?? i need help! becuase some people just can't understand that it's R&B /Pop!!! (13:58, 22 June 2009 (UTC))
- First, remember that the article listing the genre incorrectly for a day isn't going to kill anyone, and you can leave it sit for a bit, even if you believe it's wrong. Can you do me the favor of clearly explaining the dispute, including why you believe that AndreaCarax is wrong?—Kww(talk) 14:18, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
I believe that Allmusic is a very reliable source , if he/she can find a source that the album is r&b/hip-hop, that's fine with me! but AndreaCarax keeps deleting the pop genre!! (MariAna Mimi 14:35, 22 June 2009 (UTC))
This goes to AnrdreaCarax: why do you believe it is wrong to call this album a mixture of pop, R&B and Hip-hop even though a reference has been provided? can you provide a source that says it is just an R&B album? (Lil-unique1 (talk) 22:57, 22 June 2009 (UTC))
- I think everyone just needs to stop editing the article until we come to an agreement. Edit warring will just cause the page to get fully protected or more blocks will be issued. AndreaCarax, perhaps you should read WP:V; everything needs to verifiable and should be adequately sourced. It can't be based on your opinion. Everyone else needs to stop reverting each other, as you're all on the verge of breaching WP:3RR. Whether you think AndreaCarax is right or wrong, you're not going to win a battle that can't be won. Let's discuss things out first, the article only suffers from the edit war at the moment. — Σxplicit 00:17, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
This person (AndreaCarax) does not even share his/her opinion about it!! How can you find a solution like this?? he/she edits the genres of the album just because he/she does not like it the album is a mixture of R&B/Pop & Hip-Hop! (07:02, 23 June 2009 (UTC))
- I left a note on AndreaCarax's talk page about this discussion and will hopefully chip in. As it stands, it seems three people agree that this album is both R&B and pop, as given in the source, while AndreaCarax believes otherwise. That's roughly a good consensus and this dispute should be resolved by discussion, not edit warring. — Σxplicit 22:24, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
Writing credits
[edit]which songs did Keri Hilson not write?? (out of the 14 on the album) (User:MariAna Mimi)
- According to the credits on Allmusic, she doesn't have writing credits for "Make Love", "Change Me" and "Energy". — Σxplicit 16:34, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Australian singles
[edit]I just edited the singles section which claimed Energy and Turning Me On werent released in Australia. Energy was the first single here in the only physical one at that, and all singles (apart from Slow Dance) have been released digitally, which I can provide a link for.[1] User talk:Billy4kate
Orphaned references in In a Perfect World...
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of In a Perfect World...'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
