Medtronic has developed this device. It is primarily used for gastroparesis associated with diabetes or other unknown causes. Gastroparesis causes uncontrollable nausea and vomiting and the "gastric pacemaker" is one option in treating this condition. http://www.medtronic.com/patients/gastroparesis/device/index.htm
