change of far right to "conservative anti-immigrant groups."

[edit]

The reference [1] says "far-right groups" but that has been changed in the article to "conservative anti-immigrant groups." Far-right politics can be a variety of things. Opinions on the change please. Dream Focus 21:09, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if there is consensus that changing it back to "far-right groups" would not make the wording too close to the source, then it can be done. I think it's obvious from context that the two are synonymous in this case: the difference as I see it is that "far-right" is generally (in clearly in the source in question) a WP:EUPHEMISM for "racist", but "race" is less clearly relevant in this case than "immigration", so that is the paraphrase I went with. But if others disagree I'd be happy to accept the will of the majority. @TonyBallioni: What do you think? Hijiri 88 (やや) 00:04, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've tweaked it and restored far-right. Far-right is fine as a descriptor. The issue was that the construction and the rest of the words were the same. Now it has a different structure and vocabulary. TonyBallioni (talk) 00:35, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
