Notability

[edit]

The reason behind this being redirected stated that it was a non-notable song. First of all, this is an EP, not a song, therefore must meet the qualifications for a notable album, not a notable song. I'll start with this quote from Wikipedia's article on album notability: "generally, an album should not have an independent article until its title, track listing and release date have all been publicly confirmed by the artist or their record label". The title, track listing, and release date have all been publicly confirmed by the artist AND their record label. And this quote: "Articles and information about albums with confirmed release dates in the near future must be confirmed by reliable sources. Separate articles should not be created until there is sufficient reliably sourced information about a future release." Both references cited are not only reliable sources, but DIRECT sources from the label and the artist. I've added more references so that the article also has independent sources as well. I've also added a professional review. ErickAutumn (talkcontribs) 21:39, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake, this is a non-notable EP until it is released or receives significant coverage in independent reliable sources. At the moment, it has significant coverage from the band and their record label (not independent) and a blog (not a reliable source). - SummerPhD (talk) 23:01, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I added a couple of references and tried to expand the article a little. Once the album is released I will post additional reviews and charting info. ErickAutumn (talkcontribs) 21:39, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
