Old OS maps

Have a look at the mapviewer view of Illanmaster from the Ordnance Survey Ireland website. The Historic Layer 6" map from the mid-19th century is remarkably inaccurate. That gives some idea of the inaccessibility of the location; most of those surveys have stood the test of time very well. jnestorius^(talk) 19:42, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
