[edit]who began the article?
-I have no idea...someone who goes there probably? I live near it and although it is a fairly well known school around here, I have no idea why it is on Wikipedia. However, it's doing no harm.
Pretty good article, developing well. No idea who's writing all this. marc 01:11, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
an inaccuracy is here - the headteacher has extended his stay to the 1 January 2010. evidence in school newsletter —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.197.26.170 (talk) 16:06, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Notable
[edit]I've just removed 'Timmy Mallett' from the alumni section. I find this entry suspicious and can find no evidence to support the claim (e.g. Timmy_Mallett only refers to his attendance at a school in Hyde). Apologies if I'm wrong. Suncloud 14:07, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Suggest adding Professor Sir Michael Berry (University of Bristol) to the Alumni section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.226.16.38 (talk) 05:03, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- In order to be in this article as notable alumni or teachers, there should be an article on the person and that article should mention ICHS. Otherwise they are not notable or their link is tenuous. IMHO. Abtract (talk) 20:47, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
See Sir Michael Berry article in Wikipedia. I'm pretty sure he is the Mike Berry I was with at ICHS in the '50's. Somebody ask him - he's well worth adding if I'm right. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.226.31.151 (talk) 02:09, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
OK, so whoever wrote the negative response beginning "*In order to.." didn't think I was right that Sir Michael Berry is an alumnus of ICHSB, but couldn't be bothered to check one way or the other, or to follow up on my second input above. So I am going to add him myself. Geoff Barrance - Upper 6th 1959. This comment added Sept 2 2010. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.26.143.198 (talk) 00:38, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
History
[edit]This section is plainly wrong as anyone with even a basic grasp of architecture would know. The original Park School was in Balfour Road, Ilford from 1901. The girls school was built in 1929 at Gants Hill and the boys in the 1930`s at Barkingside.
Ospreys
[edit]There used to be four houses at Ilford County, including Ospreys which are not named in the application. The last intake of students for the Ospreys house was in September 2015 and, so, the last Osprey students left in July 2020.
Should this be included in the article, for the purposes of holding all the correct facts. Moreover, should the heads of house be included also? 81.108.79.86 (talk) 16:50, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, but not the heads of house, because they're inconsistent and always change. Taiyaki Schizo (talk) 18:07, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
