Jubilee Records comment

[edit]

Removed the following, as written in non-encyclopedia style and NPOV; needs re-writing:

"Ilene made asensational album for New York label Jubilee Records in about 1957 called "It's Late" (JLP 1046) which is very highly sought-after. The seductive cover art features Ilene, hand outstretched on a curving staircase. Some interesting liner notes too by Gary Stevens and Joan Bender. Musical arrangements by Bill Clifton. It's terriffic late-night stuff, and I understand, is shortly to be re-issued on CD by UK label Harkit Records." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.12.179.108 (talk) 14:21, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

photo?

[edit]

Any chance of finding an appropriate photo of Ms. Woods for this article? - It doesn't stick. (talk) 06:36, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jennifer Hale comment

[edit]

Someone inserted "For the direct-to-video sequels to Cinderella and the Princess Stories, Jennifer Hale voiced Cinderella." I am removing it as it has nothing to do with Ilene Woods, but rather belongs in Cinderella (1950 film). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bundas (talkcontribs) 03:12, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Musical Legacy?

[edit]

Would the legacy of her '1950 Song' used in Cinderella, and the "This is Love" vocal being sampled by the Future Sound of London (FSOL) as their 1991 'So This is Love' single under their 'Mental Cube' alias be of note in this article?

'So This is Love' was a very successful and we'll received Dance and Rave music track in the UK and Europe during that period. 86.177.101.84 (talk) 16:05, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
