What is know his religious stance?--Vojvodae 15:48, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He now describes himself as an agnostic. Colin MacLaurin (talk) 11:32, 17 September 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.35.158.93 (talk) [reply]
He died in 1963. How can he "now describe himself" as anything? Yes, I know that statement was made in 2008, but that is still a long time after 1963. Mal7798 (talk) 13:48, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation of Name

[edit]

Quebec is an unusual surname for anyone to be born with, especially an American. The Canadian province comes from an Algonquin reference about geography and was not named after a person with that surname. It would seem an ancestor chose to go by the name of the province before Quebec's birth. A name origin section would be relevant. Mal7798 (talk) 13:55, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Over reliance on a single source...

[edit]

Hello fellow editors,

Someone has invested a lot of time and effort on this article. Thank you! However, it requires some work to improve its scholarly rigor, containing as it does an overreliance on a single source. I have therefore inserted a 'more citations' banner and will endeavour to improve the article over coming months. Please help! :-) Don-music (talk) 07:45, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have improved the readability and prose of the article, and added a significant number of citations to noted sources. I am unsure much more can be done since there isn't a huge volume of materials covering Quebec's career or early life.
I will retain the banner for now and, in coming weeks and months, consider its removal, if editors here are satisfied? Don-music (talk) 12:23, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
