Question that is not answered in the article

Hello, is this song about one million U.S. Dollars (USD) or one million Canadaian Dollars (CAD)? I gots to know! Mike R (talk) 22:50, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

This song is almost certainly about Canadian money, since the band wrote it in Canada before they even had any idea that they would be performing in the States. But then again, nowadays, it doesn't really matter. They're about the same. Thesithwithashotgunshell (talk) 01:01, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Why not Fijian Dollars, or Australian Dollars, or Hong Kong Dollars? The dollar isn't an exclusive currency to the US and Canada. I bet the song would have a very different meaning if it was implying Zimbabwean Dollars. See Dollar#National_currencies_called_.22dollar.22 for more info. It's pretty safe to assume they were talking about Canadian Dollars, since that's the national currency where they were performing when they wrote the song.
