Merge?
[edit]Should this article be merged with femininity? There's not much in this one, and it would seem to fit well as a separate section in that article. Huxley G (talk) 23:16, 20 September 2014 (UTC)

Improvements
[edit]How can the ideas of ideal womanhood be expanded upon in this article? I think providing additional information on the women listed would help improve the overall quality of this article. In addition, some of the reference links no longer work, so updating these references would further improve article quality. I think some information on how ideal womanhood depends on time period, country, and culture would help give this article more content. Mgregg21 (talk) 01:36, 6 September 2019 (UTC) "
- Hello again: I am thinking about editing this article to include information about how ideal womanhood varies with time period and culture. I would also like to include how trans women are excluded from the Ideal Womanhood, and possibly link this article with LGBTQ issues. Check my user page for more info. - I will not be updating this article HOWEVER, I wanted to provide references that I think would aid in improving this article, should anyone choose to do so.
