[edit]@Andreas Philopater: Did you miss the 6th line of second para on page 86 in Constance Classen's book, published by University of Illinois Press? It states, "Saint Ida of Louvain...". John Delaney's Dictionary Of Saints includes her on page 310 as well. Please check. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 21:27, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
See these sources too: 1 (A New Dictionary of Saints: East and West, Michael J. Walsh), 2 (Women, Family and Society in Medieval Europe: Historical Essays, David Herlihy). Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 21:38, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- So which of these sources says she was "beatified to sainthood"? --Andreas Philopater (talk) 21:41, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Andreas Philopater: Fair point, and my poor choice of wording. These sources confirm her sainthood in Catholicism, something this article should mention, and that is what I had in mind. If you have time, perhaps you can further improve this article. There is a lot more that could be summarized about Ida of Louvain. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 22:04, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
