Were the qualification tournaments held?

Were the 2021 qualification tournaments held or not? There seems to be confusion in the article. GoodDay (talk) 01:14, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The tournaments (six of them) that have game details, were held. They use the past tense, "was held" or "were held". The round that says, "cancelled" was cancelled. Do you have an example of what this confusion is?18abruce (talk) 02:31, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@GoodDay:No worries, I think that the championship articles sometimes talk about themselves as qualification and then you come here and the actual qualification rounds are something different so going back and forth is definitely confusing. Especially in the old days when the IIHF often called their bottom tier 'qualification' for no discernible reason.
