Other Ice Runways

[edit]

May need to edit this section to be less US/McMurdo centric: http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/bscienceb-antarctic-air-shuttle-becomes-reality/2007/12/11/1197135463231.html Does anyone have more details? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.160.81.228 (talk) 03:01, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ice Runways?

[edit]

What is the difference between a Blue ice runway and an Ice Runway? It seems like a merge would be in order... but I'm not knowledgeable on the subject. Azoreg (talk) 18:36, 9 February 2009 (UTC) The second article is a specific runway with its own ICAO code. The first article is about the topic generally. Think of it as "Airport" and "JFK Airport". --80.80.39.45 (talk) 18:26, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Updated Runways

[edit]

I believe this article is now outdated, runway 16/34 is decommissioned, and 11/29 is now 13/31 (due to magnetic deviation) As a flight simulator enthusiast, I have a chart made by the company "Aerosoft." You can find it on Page 42 of this PDF: http://jeanlouis1212.kasteo.com/_media/bv000026.lkdoc.manual-antartica-x.pdf Rain.tanthera (talk) 01:37, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
