[edit]Is there any evidence about his Arabic routes? I found some claims on the Internet that his father immigrated from Palestine.2402:1980:81C6:E15D:BC1B:FE42:F169:49D5 (talk) 13:12, 29 September 2018 (UTC)

The Maldives returned to the Commonwealth on 1 February 2020.
[edit]Ibrahim Solih is now a Commonwealth head of government - as from 1 February 2020, when the Maldives returned to its status as a Commonwealth republic. - (124.197.55.28 (talk) 17:49, 3 February 2020 (UTC))
Still president or not?
[edit]In German Wikipedia (and elsewhere), it says he's still the prez, whereas it here states that his presidential tenure ended 16 November 2018. I know there was a change in the constituency, but if he's not the president, who is? Well, acccording to you (or a political opponent who's messing with you...), it's MP Jeehan Mahmood...would someone please care to comment on that before I change it all?
Thx, J.

- Besserwissern, he is still the president. The part where it says that his tenure ended on 16 November 2018 is about his tenure in the Parliament, not his presidency. His presidency will end in November 2023. EN-Jungwon 10:51, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

Is he the 'seventh' president or not.
[edit]Again Mewulwe is removing a numbering from the infobox, without any regard to the other presidents in a series of bio articles. Should the numbering remain or not, in the infobox. GoodDay (talk) 15:56, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
PS: Anyways, I've removed the numbering from the bios of the other Maldives presidents & vice presidents. To bring them in line with this bio. GoodDay (talk) 16:22, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
Emergency consensus needed for birth date
[edit]According to People's Majlis in 2006 Solih was born on 1965-06-12 (12th of June 1965). People's Majlis which is a official source of government. According to in the voters registry forms released by the government gazette is saying Solih’s birthday is March 1, 1962.[1]. This source is saying 4 May 1964. News released by indian express news in 2018 says 56 years old (in 2018) which is shown that he was born in 1962.[2] I think that the birth date is 1964, May 4 because most of the trusted newses like This one says that he was elected as a Parliament Member at the age of 30 in 1994, which makes the birth year 1964. So the Main paragraph will be changed soon? MAL MALDIVE (talk) 08:27, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
