Place of birth? The current version of this article (9 Sep 2019) states that Ibnu was "born near the Yogyakarta Sultan's palace." I doubt that this is correct. Various other sources refer to him being born in Grobogan Kabupaten (to the east of Semarang). See, for example, O.G. Roeder, Who's Who in Indonesia. His father was a senior official (Wedana) in Grobogan so it seems more likely that Ibnu was born there. Roeder seems a reasonably reliable source but if any other, more reliable, source can be found, it would be good to clarify this matter one way or the other.
