Infobox?
[edit]Can anyone help with the infobox? Or see if this is formatted correctly?
{{Infobox writer | name = Ianto Evans | occupation = Ecological building teacher and consultant | language = English | residence = Oregon | nationality = Welsh | citizenship = United States | genre = Natural building | notableworks = The Hand-Sculpted House | website = https://www.cobcottage.com/
He is a fairly private person, and there isn't a biography available that I'm aware of to get family details, birthdate, etc. I know this information third hand, from my teachers who have studied under Ianto, but I have not met him myself.
If I get a copy of the book and digitize the photo, is that fair use? Or if I take a screen capture from a film[1] he was in, is that appropriate? -Legaia (talk) 23:47, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
Contra-flow cookstove?
[edit]Under “career,” it says that Ianto Evans developed the Lorena cookstove, a type of “contra-flow”…
As far as I’m aware, “contra-flow” has nothing to do with the Lorena stove, and is a type of Finnish or Swedish woodburning stove **room heater**, whereby hot gasses descend within the outer walls by forced downdraft, while cold room air ascends along the outside of the heater by convection. That, to my knowledge, is the only appropriate reference to “contra-flow” when describing a woodburning stove. ForsytheInstauratur (talk) 03:44, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
