I would like to add that there is a direct link available to the TV gadget slots on The Cool Stuff Collective http://www.itv.com/citvonline/coolstuffcollective/futuretech/ though the video is UK only due to ITV policies. Any show reels for TV work would probably be regarded as self published? I assume TV company produced websites are suitable verifiable sources though such as this link?Epredator (talk) 10:01, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
I was actually born in the Lothingland district of Suffolk http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lothingland_Rural_District but in 1974 Bradwell, near Great Yarmouth was pulled into the county of Norfolk.Epredator (talk) 10:01, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
The British Computer Society is now only known as BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT
There are many more references bookmarked at http://www.delicious.com/epredator/epredator mostly newpaper and magazine interviews around the subject of virtual worlds form 2006 onwards. - Added inbound wikilinks to four articles, cleaned up external links to wikipedia pages as wikilinks, removed the orphan tag. --Jeffmcneill (talk) 03:20, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Reference comments by [User:Msmwillcox] It is true the eightbar blog is now more of a historical reference, but relevant non the less to the take up of virtual worlds and the movement created in 2006. Re the use of the IBM PC in business. Whilst this is really pre-web in documentation terms I was working in an internal IBM account called volume products. It was in 1990 (when i joined) a pure green screen PLI/DB2 development. Very eraly on in my career I joined a group on that (whilst quite common now) sought to separate the presentation logic from the back end server logic. The PLS pilot led to the first implementations (at least in IBM europe) of business applications using a windowed operating system talking to the same backend as the green screens running all of IBM's stock control in the region. Much of this was developed on OS/2. The interview references the fact I was willing to engage in new technology which was generally unproven in that arena. Epredator (talk) 09:41, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
Reference comments by the subject of this entry (again). The eightbar blog is an irrelevance. I have not seen any references or citations for the blog in any significant literature associated with virtual worlds. The explanation of the impact of his work as a junior programmer on IBM's thriving PC business needs a citation from someone other than the subject of the entry. This entry is becoming more and more an exercise in self publicity. Can the decision to delete be reviewed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Msmwillcox (talk • contribs) 08:52, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
